We’ve supported many families through this time, and we understand the pressure that comes with organising a gathering when emotions are running high. Our job is to make this part easy. To take it off your plate entirely.

Every menu we put together for a funeral reception is customised. We don’t have a standard package we push people into. We listen to what you need, understand your guest numbers and budget, and build something that feels right for the occasion.

What Families Usually Choose

A menu built around what feels right

There is no fixed package for funeral catering. Every menu is put together with you, based on your guests, your venue and what feels appropriate for the occasion. That said, most families gravitate toward a similar combination.

Finger Food & Canapés

The most popular choice. Easy for guests to eat while standing and mingling, requiring no cutlery and no fuss. Our Festive Canapés Package covers 6 selections over 2 hours and is the most requested starting point for funeral receptions. Selections are tailored to suit your guests and any dietary needs.

Fresh Sandwiches

A comforting, familiar option that guests of all ages appreciate. We prepare fresh sandwiches with quality fillings, presented well and replenished throughout the event. Often combined with finger food as part of a customised spread. We discuss the selections with you and make sure the presentation does the occasion justice.

Tea & Coffee Station

Almost always requested, and always the right call. A warm, welcoming tea and coffee station gives guests something to hold and creates a natural gathering point. We set it up, keep it stocked and ensure it runs smoothly throughout. Just mention it when you get in touch and we include it in your quote.

Mini Cakes & Slices

A lovely touch that families often add alongside the finger food and sandwiches. Mini cakes, slices and sweet bites give guests something to enjoy with their tea or coffee, and they can be customised to include a favourite treat of the person being remembered. We discuss the selections with you and present them beautifully.

Other Options Available

For larger gatherings or celebration of life events, some families prefer a grazing table as a visual centrepiece (from $29.50pp), a buffet spread with warm mains and sides ($68pp), or a more substantial cocktail-style spread with bowl food included ($75pp). We discuss all of this with you and suggest what tends to work best based on your guest count, venue and timing.

We handle everything on the day

We arrive early, set up everything, run the service quietly and professionally, and pack down at the end. You focus on your family.

Service Options

Staffed service or delivery. Your choice.

Every family is different. Some want a professional team on site to run everything. Others prefer to have the food delivered and set up by family. We offer both.

Fully Staffed Service

Our team arrives early, sets everything up, manages the food and drink throughout the reception, replenishes platters, runs the tea and coffee station and packs down at the end. You and your family do not need to think about a thing. This is the most popular option and the one we always recommend when the family wants to be fully present.

Delivery Only

For families who prefer to manage things themselves, or where the venue and numbers make a staffed service unnecessary, we can deliver the food fully prepared and presentation-ready. Everything arrives set up on trays and platters, labelled clearly, ready to put straight out. A more budget-friendly option that still delivers quality food beautifully presented.
